Sreenu Vaitla, once a leading director in the Telugu film industry known for his series of blockbuster hits, was considered one of the biggest commercial directors after SS Rajamouli.
Even the biggest superstars were eager to work with him. However, his career took a sudden downturn following a rift with writer Kona Venkat, and his subsequent movies ‘Bruce Lee’, ‘Mister’ and ‘Amar Akbar Anthony’ have failed miserably at the box office. The star director hasn’t directed a movie in recent years. Though he announced a sequel to ‘Dhee’ with Vishnu Manchu, there’s no update on the movie.
Recent sources reveal that Sreenu Vaitla has found a new hero in Bellamkonda Sreenivas, who is striving to establish himself as a mass hero. The movie, which will be produced by KK Radhamohan under the Sri Sathya Sai Arts banner, has been scripted by Priyadarshini. Fans are eagerly awaiting an official announcement about the project, and many are hoping that Sreenu Vaitla will make a successful return to the industry with this movie.
