Renowned Telugu music director Raj, who was famously known as Raj-Koti alongside his musical partner Koti, has tragically passed away today. While the duo created a remarkable musical legacy together, Raj’s career experienced a decline after their separation. He could only score music for a couple of movies, namely “Sisindri,” and “Ramudochadu.”

Raj’s unfortunate demise occurred at the age of 68, as he suffered a fatal heart attack after slipping in the bathroom and falling down at his residence in Kukatpally, Hyderabad. Despite his later struggles, Raj-Koti’s collaborative efforts have left an indelible impact on the industry, with notable works including “Yamudiki Mogudu,” “Khaidi No. 786,” “Kodhama Simham,” “Karthavyam,” “Muta Mesthri,” “Govinda Govinda,” and “Hello Brother.”

Raj is survived by his three daughters: Deepthi, Divya, and Swetha. Divya, who currently works as an associate director in the industry, is among his talented offspring. The funeral proceedings will take place tomorrow at Mahaprasthanam, Hyderabad, once Raj’s younger daughter returns from Malaysia.
