Directed by Gopichand Malineni, the movie is all set for a grand release on 12th January. The trailer has set huge expectations for the movie. However, Balakrishna will have stiff competition from Chiranjeevi who is coming with Waltair Veerayya for this Sankranthi.

The last time Chiranjeevi and Balakrishna competed for Sankranthi was in 2017. Chiranjeevi’s comeback movie Khadi No 150 which was also his 150th movie and Balakrishna’s 100th movie Gautamiputra Satakarni was released for Sankranthi and Chiranjeevi was the winner.

Now, after a gap of six years, they are testing their luck at the box office for Sankranthi this year. Balakrishna’s Veera Simha Reddy received a U/A certificate from the censor board.

According to censor reports, half of the movie is strong, with a 20-minute episode that is well-received. On the flip side, the second half seems less. However, the movie is balanced with some decent songs and four fight scenes in the latter half.

Balakrishna’s dual roles, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar’s intense character, and Honey Rose’s emotional performance are expected to be the major plus points in the movie. Shruthi Haasan is playing the female lead in both movies and interestingly Mythri Movie Makers is producing both these movies.
