Padmavati trailer has been released at 13.03 pm today. Interestingly, the time has been set so because story belongs to 1303 AD. Sanjay Leela Bhansali directed this historic film. Deepika Padukone plays titular role of Rajput queen. Shahid Kapoor will be seen as king and her husband. Deepika’s real life boyfriend Ranveer Singh plays villain Allauddin Khilji.
Padmavati had been in news couple of months back as Rajput Karni Sena activists attacked film’s sets in Jaipur and manhandled the director. They did so as rumours spread that a romantic track between Padmavati and Khilji has been included in the film. Activists warned makers not to distort history. Padmavati is most anticipated Bollywood film at the moment. It is expected to break Baahubali’s records. Padmavati is set for release on December 1.
