Vishnu Manchu was recently in headlines for his insightful letter to Movie Artiste Association (MAA) on the ongoing issue. The actor is awaiting release of his latest film ‘Achari America Yatra’. The anticipated comedy entertainer was supposed to release in January but was postponed.
After much of dilly-dallying, the film has been scheduled for release on April 27th. Achari America Yatra has amassed huge buzz with its trailer and songs. Vishnu teamed up his successful director G Nageswar Reddy after hilarious hits like Denikaina Ready and Eedo Rakam Aado Rakam.
Happening beauty Pragya Jaiswal sizzled opposite Vishnu in the film that has been shot extensively in USA, Malaysia and India. AAY made news last year as Vishnu met with bike accident and suffered severe injuries while shooting in Malaysia. Achari America Yatra is a promising comedy caper with Brahmanandam in a full length role alongside Vishnu.
SS Thaman and Achu Rajamani scored music has received thumping response. AAY appears a wholesome entertainer with adequate commercial ingredients. Despite having so many goodies, Achari America Yatra is not being promoted by the makers to the extent it deserves. However, good the content may be in today’s world of cinema, it needs to be publicized to reach out to the audiences.
Vishnu expressed concerns over it and tweeted in this regard. Makers are ruining a film that is potential super hit. Achari America Yatra is produced by Kirthi Chowdary and Kittu under Padmaja Pictures banner.
Marketing and releasing a movie is an Art. Many good movies have not done well because of bad/no promotions. Sad.
