Sankranthi season is always a special period for Tollywood. Many filmmakers target Sankranthi to register cash at the ticket counter. Over the years we have seen many big films releasing for Sankranthi and scoring blockbusters.
The coming Sankranthi is going to be a unique one as two biopics are releasing with in a day or two gap. The biopics are NTR and Yatra (based on politician YSR’s padayatra).
Very recently Balakrishna has announced that the biopic on his father NT Rama Rao will hit the screens for Sankranthi festival while the makers of ‘Yatra’ are also planning to release the movie during the same time.
