HCA clarifies about NTR’s absence

SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus RRR, a fictional tale set in the pre-independence era featuring NTR, and Ram Charan is doing wonders at the global level by winning several accolades and awards.

The Hollywood Critics Association recently presented four major awards to Team RRR, leading to social media buzz around pictures of the team with their HCA statuettes. However, some fans of NTR were disappointed by his absence from the event, and they expressed their discontent by tagging the HCA’s Twitter handle and criticizing the organization for not recognizing NTR.

To address the concerns of the fans, the HCA has issued a clarification regarding NTR’s absence from the awards ceremony.

In response, the HCA has issued a clarification regarding NTR’s absence at the awards ceremony, likely to address the concerns of the disappointed fans.

“Dear RRR fans & supporters, we did invite N. T. Rama Rao Jr. to attend the #HCAFilmAwards but he is shooting a new film in India. He will be receiving his awards from us shortly. Thank you for all your love and support” (sic), the HCA’s Twitter handle tweeted in the wee hours of Tuesday.

And when a fan pointed out that NTR couldn’t attend the awards due to Tarakaratna’s passing, the HCA replied, saying, “He was originally shooting a movie which is why he couldn’t attend. His brother’s passing happened afterward which is why he stepped away from the movie. This is what his publicist told us (sic).” Tarak will be given his HCA statuette upon his arrival to the US for the Oscar promotions.
