The Sandalwood blockbuster Kantara is gearing up for its prequel, titled Kantara: Chapter 1, which was officially announced amidst great excitement in Kundapura, Karnataka. Director and writer Rishab Shetty takes the helm of this highly anticipated film.
Celebrating the announcement, the filmmakers unveiled a gripping teaser and the first look poster. The teaser immerses viewers in the legend unfolding during the Kadambas’ reign, set between 345 CE and 500 CE.
Enhanced by an enchanting score composed by Ajaneesh Loknath, the teaser enthralls audiences, transporting them to that era. Rishab Shetty embodies a robust character, donning long hair and a beard while wielding a trident and sword. The visuals promise an absorbing masterpiece, heightened by striking imagery of blood-stained figures and intense gazes.
