Remember Jr NTR danced with his grand dad NTR in Yamadonga? The late legendary actor was digitally recreated. Mahanati Savitri team is also resorting on something similar format. Directed by Nag Ashwin, this biopic has Keerthy Suresh playing yesteryear actress Savitri. The film will also feature the roles of Nandamuri Taraka Ramarao and Akkineni Nageswar Rao. Jr NTR and Naga Chaitanya were initial choice for the roles of their grandfathers.
Apparently, both the actors didn’t dare to reprise legends. As per latest update, black & white films of NTR and ANR will be digitally re-mastered and inserted into the upcoming film. So, we’ll get to see Keerthy romancing Sr. NTR and ANR, of course in digital format. Samantha is playing a key role. Versatile actor Mohan Babu reprises the role of SV Rangarao. Dulquer Salman will be seen as Gemini Ganesan. Vyjayanthi Movies is producing this film. The film also features Arjun Reddy pair Vijay Devarakonda and Shalini Pandey.
