Dr Mohan Babu unveils the statue of legendary director Late Dasari Narayana Rao in Palakollu on Saturday on the occasion of Republic Day. It is well known that Mohan Babu considers Dasari as his guru.
Speaking on the occasion, Mohan Babu said,”I was born to a school teacher. I used to play small villain roles in movies. It was my Guru Dasari Narayana Rao who made me into character artiste and then into a hero. He made me share screen with legends like NTR and ANR. Any big star used to crave to act in his direction. He was a such a great technician and personality. As a tribute to him, I built an auditorium and library on his name in our Sree Vidyanikethan college.”
MP Murali Mohan, Gokaraju Gangaraju, Minister Ganta Srinivas Rao and others attended the statue unveiling ceremony.
