Young Tiger NTR is currently busy with ‘Devara,’ an intense action movie directed by Koratala Siva. As it’s the second combination of NTR and Koratala Siva after ‘Janatha Garage’, there’s a huge expectation from the movie. In addition to ‘Devara,’ NTR has also agreed to join the cast of Ayan Mukerji’s upcoming spy thriller, ‘War 2,’ where Hrithik Roshan will be taking the lead role. NTR, renowned as one of the highest-paid actors in Tollywood, is reported to command a fee of 50 crores for his role in ‘War 2.’
NTR received 45 crores for his work in ‘RRR,’ which took three years of his time. In contrast, his role in ‘War 2’ will be shorter, but he’s still getting a big paycheck. Yash Raj Films, the production company, has agreed to pay him this substantial sum. The writer of the film, Aditya Chopra, has created a strong and challenging role for NTR in ‘War 2,’ where he will be up against Hrithik, the lead actor. Filming for the movie is set to begin later this year.
Turning to ‘Devara,’ the film features Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead and Saif Ali Khan as a powerful villain. Additionally, Shina Tom Chacko, who has been gaining prominence in Tollywood, plays a pivotal role. The movie is presented by Kalyan Ram under ‘NTR Arts,’ with Sudhakar Mikkilineni and Kosaraju Harikrishna will be producing this movie.
The film boasts Ratnavelu ISC as the director of photography and Sabu Cyril as the production designer. Sreekar Prasad is responsible for editing, while the music will be composed by the young musical sensation Anirudh Ravinchander. The anticipated release date for the movie is April 5, 2024.
