Superstar Rajinikanth tried his hand at mafia don roles in his recent film Kabali and Kaala, both directed by Pa Ranjith. His next, Shankar directorial 2.0 will release on November 29th, 2018. Meanwhile, Rajinikanth has joined hands with Karthik Subbaraj for a film. The director is known for different films like Pizza, Jigarthanda and Mercury.
The latest grapevine is that Rajini’s next film in the direction of Karthik Subbaraj is inspired by Mega Star Chiranjeevi’s yesteryear blockbuster ‘Master’. Apparently, Rajini will be playing a professor who is cool in nature. He works in a college where his sons study. However, he will have a radical flashback like those of Baasha and Narasimha. These are mere speculations though. Simran and Vijay Sethupathi are also part of this film.
