The upcoming sci-fi thriller Project K, starring Prabhas, is generating a lot of excitement among fans across India. The film, directed by Nag Ashwin, features an impressive cast including Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani, and is slated to release on January 12, 2024. Nag Ashwin intends to establish Prabhas as a global superstar with this movie.
However, there are rumors that Project K might run into political trouble. The movie is produced by Aswini Dutt’s Vyjayanthi Movies. Recently, Aswini Dutt made controversial remarks indirectly criticizing the ruling YSRCP and Andhra Pradesh CM Jagan Mohan Reddy over the Nandi awards.

As a result, YSRCP leaders are attacking Aswini Dutt, and moviegoers are concerned that the government and its leaders might target Project K during its release around Sankranti 2024. This is not surprising as the YSRCP government has a track record of targeting those who speak against them, as evidenced by their treatment of Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s films, Vakeel Saab and Bheemla Nayak.

Given the recent disappointments of Prabhas’ films, Saaho and Radhe Shyam, Project K has become the most eagerly anticipated movie of the actor. It remains to be seen what the future holds for the film in Andhra Pradesh at the hands of CM Jagan and his administration.
