Varun Tej’s movie into caste controversy

Varun Tej is levitating in the success of F2. The comical entertainer co-starring Venkatesh continues to set cash registers ringing.

Meanwhile, Varun joined forces with Harish Shankar  for his next titled ‘Valmiki’. The film has been launched recently. It will be a remake of Tamil dark comedy ‘Jigarthanda’.

Remember Harish Shankar’s previous film ‘Duvvada Jagannadham’  faced controversy from Brahmin community for using sanskrit hymns in romantic song ‘Badi Gudilo’.

As per latest update, Valmiki too is tangled into controversies. National Valmiki Joint Action Committee in Mahanandi, Kurnool has raised objections over the film being titled as ‘Valmiki’. More so because the title logo consists a gun and also the film’s story revolves around gangster. The committee members demanded change in title and warned to obstruct shooting locations.
