Tollywood actor Victory Venkatesh faced massive backlash and was subjected to intense trolling for accepting a role in Rana Naidu, a Hindi web series that marked his OTT debut on Netflix last month. The series received negative feedback from viewers, particularly for Venkatesh’s portrayal.
However, despite the criticism, Netflix has officially announced today that Rana Naidu has been renewed for a second season. A small glimpse has been released to announce the upcoming season, directed by Suparn Verma and Karan Anshuman, with Rana Daggubati in the lead role. Suchitra Pillai, Gourav Chopra, and Surveen Chawla also played significant roles in the series.
