A few years ago, government officials busted a major drug cartel in Hyderabad and several names of celebrities from Tollywood have come under the scanner. The SIT led by Akun Sabarwal has summoned Puri Jagannadh, Charmee Kaur, Ravi Teja, Subbaraju, Rakul Preet Singh, Tanish, Tarun, and a few others.
Though the case subsided for a while, the latest development in the drug scandal shocked the Telugu film industry once again. The police arrested a Tollywood heroine’s husband for his involvement in drug peddling. Actress Neha Deshpande’s husband Myron Rohit was arrested for his alleged links with the drug supply.

Neha Deshpande featured in movies like Bichchagada Majaka, The Bells, Vajralu Kavala Nayana, Dada Puttista, and Tippara Meesam. After starring in a few Tollywood and Bollywood movies, she married Myron Rohit, an International DJ organizer. Myron Rohit started working in a pub in Mumbai and started supplying drugs getting into contact with drug suppliers in Hyderabad, Goa, and Mumbai. Hyderabad cops arrested Myron Rohit when he was taking drugs in a pub in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad.

The police in their investigation found that Myron Rohit along with Manyam Krishna Kishore Reddy has been supplying drugs to Tollywood celebrities.
