It’s a proud moment of time for celebration for all the mega fans. Megastar Chiranjeevi is honored with the prestigious ‘Indian Film Personality of the Year 2022’ award. This award was announced by the information and broadcasting minister of India; Anurag Thakur at the Indian Film Festival held in Goa.

This Award was instituted in 2013, as Indian cinema completed 100 years, and would be given to celebrities who make outstanding contributions to the growth and development of Indian cinema.

Before Chiranjeevi, Amitabh Bachchan, Rajinikanth, Hema Malini, Ilaiyaraaja, and SP Balasubramanyam were among the others who were bestowed with this prestigious award. For his invaluable contribution to the film industry through more than 150 films, Chiranjeevi has been honored with this award now.

After receiving the award, Chiranjeevi responded with a tweet and said “Greatly delighted and humbled at this honor Sri. Anurag Thakur. My deep gratitude to the Government of India and all of my fans because of whom I am here today.”
