Tharun Bhascker turned heads with bang of a blockbuster ‘Pelli Choopulu’. The content driven romantic family entertainer created storm in 2016. Pelli Choopulu was smash hit in USA having collected 1 million dollars. Thanks to good word of mouth and rave reviews. The Vijay Deverakonda starrer was made on shoe string budget and earned huge profits to producers. Tharun also won National Award for the film.
Naturally, movie buffs had great expectations on Tharun Bhascker’s second film. Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi received thumping response for its promising trailers and promos. The buddy flick provided fun entertainment as vowed. Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi doesn’t have basic plot and the film progresses aimless. Director banked heavily on comedy but nothing else.
However, the film has been ripped off by some reviewers online. Ratings have been disappointing. This has an adverse effect on film’s openings and weekend collected could be marred. Miffed with it, Tharun Bhascker slammed review writers. He lashed out at them with offensive lingo. Critics ask him if a director cant take criticism how can he expect them to write good about his silly comedy entertainer. Further they reminded him that Pelli Choopulu was such a hit because of good reviews written by same websites, especially in the US.
